Ezone group was started with incorporation of its flagship company ezone Tubes Limited on 4th August,1981. The company set up project to manufacture both Black and Galvanising Pipes in sizes Half to four.
Today the group comprises of following companies:

ON 31st March,2006 group had a turnover of Rs.300.00 Crores. The group has taken achievable targets of reaching a turnover of Rs.350.00 Crores by 31st March,2007. With this vision in mind the group has gone ahead for various expansion as well as diversification projects.

The group is engaged in manufacture and sale of various products under very strict quality control under its own as well as third party inspection of various reputed inspection agencies. The product of the company confirms to various national & international standards. Group has been awarded various licenses for marking ISI monograms on its various products. The flagship company of the group i. E. Nezone Tubes Limited is an ISO 9002 certified company. Its Calcutta works has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9002 Certificate by DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV) certifying that the quality system of the company has been found to confirm to the quality standard of ISO 9002. The Certificate is valid for manufacturing and supplying of ERW Steel Tubes (Black & Galvanised). The Group is well known for its adherence to quality and has therefore been able to penetrate various export markets like Srilanka, Australia, Nigeria, Singapore, Banladesh Etc. Group is captive supplier to various component manufacturers who cater to the needs of developed markets like USA & UK for the various electrical & automobile components.

Expansions

The group has taken various expansion projects to achieve it targets

1)Nezone Strips Ltd. Is augmenting its Precision Tubes manufacturing facility so as to include very high value added segment of product in its range mainly to cater to the requirement of growing Automobile component manufacturers at a total project cost of Rs.335.00 Lakhs which is expected to give additional turnover of Rs.1100.00 Lakhs to the group. The project is expected to be commissioned by April,2003.

2)North Eastern Tubes Ltd. Has increased its capacity to produce Black Pipes and is thereby confident to achieve substantially better results. The management has planned to up grade the facilities to manufacture API Pipes.

3)Group has floated a new company namely Nezone Industries Ltd. To set up a E. R. W. M. S. Black and Galvanised Pipe manufacturing plant at EPIP Byrnihat, Meghalaya with various incentives at a total project cost of Rs.808.00 Lakhs which will bring an additional turnover of Rs.2200.00 Lakhs. Company is expected to commence production by January,2003.
